About Me

Hi, my name is Ben. I'm a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD (AuDHD) man — I received my diagnosis in my 30s from a psychologist who is also self-disclosed autistic. Working with someone who shared that experience made a real difference in my own process of self-discovery and acceptance, and it's part of why I do this work now.One of my goals as an autistic therapist is to draw on my own lived experience to offer other neurodivergent individuals genuine understanding and support as they navigate a world that can often feel overwhelming or not built with them in mind.

Therapeutic Approach

I would describe my therapeutic approach as eclectic and person-centered. I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives, and I let them lead the direction of our work together. My focus is on showing up with non-judgmental curiosity, empathy, and authenticity, without hiding behind a clinical facade.Other modalities that I incorporate in my work include EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
